Remembrance of Zizi

I've regretted that five minutes away without shutting the door. It could have been prevented if it wasn't that careless act, a single act of shutting the door tight could have still made her alive. It wasn't till now I realized how terrifying is to losing her. I've always tried to imagine the worst, to protect her away from any evil-doing, from any chances of getting into danger, any risk that I might lose her. In the end, I couldn't protect her. It was just a short moment, and she was gone. I knew that there was the risk, still I can't do the act of shutting the door. I can still feel her fear when she struggled for her last breath in my arms, it was as if she was begging for my help but I was too weak, too little compared to the death that was overwhelming. For once I hated myself not to teach her to fear of the strong, instead leaving her to keep fighting against the strong. I hope the I could have teach her to be coward, to flee against all danger and be timid to seek for my protection. She is always the stubborn one, likes too much to act strong. Bad-tempered but cute at the same time, the typical tsundere type. She likes to wander around my legs, licking my feet and ask for patting. People said rabbit don't make sound, but Zizi does. When she was quite small, she went across to the neighbour's garden, which I was nervous and caught her on her leg too harshly, she squeaked, like the sound of crying baby. Only once I had heard that sound, later on, she started making the sound like pig snort, similar but not the same, whenever she is not happy. Sometimes when she refused to go back to cage or come out of the cage, or when patting her backside, she used to make that sound. I hope that I could have record it down... She gets furious easily, and was ill-tempered to all other creatures. Sometimes I think that she is not aware that she is a rabbit but is on the same level as me.

For five years, she was with me. I bought her on November 2008 from a friend, at that time she was only 1-month old, just a handful size. Always healthy since then until last september, when she had blood urine issue, I went to the vet for some injection. I only knew that rabbits usually have a average 8 -years of life span. I was shocked as 8 years was too short, and I have like only 3 years left for Zizi. It was a tragic now that she can't even live up to that 8 years.... and I hope that I could have given her the best life that I could, to let her grow old and die in peace.. and not fears and regrets... I could have be a better Master, fulfill her short life with a better world better life better way of living. Nothing could have been done now and I hope that she could still be here with me. If I could just see, I wish I can still hold her in my arms and pat her again and hug her to sleep. I hope once that life isnt how it was, life is too fragile, a glimpse of eyes and she's gone. I wish i could have the ability to save her, not to watch her die slowly in hopeless. I wish that she can still be with me.

I wish that I could have been better in English, to write her a poem, a better speech, used better words. I love you, Zizi, and will always do. God bless you in heaven and hope we could have meet again, someday somewhere in any form. I'll always miss you.

【COS】The Two Sides - Agito x Akito Manga Cover Vol.16

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was done with this set quite early last month, but wasn't in the mood to blog that time. Alot of stuff going on and kinda lack of the motivation to write anything. Well I supposed this is how people eventually left out blogging and go with facebook status, or just tweeted them. I even left my Taiwan tour blog half way and well not feeling like finishing it up. Well, I still think that insisting that blogging will help, myself, probably to start writing something instead of laying around not braining at all XDD. I am actually in a midst of the important event of the 3 years I spent studying and still not yet motivated enough to heat up on my presentation which is like next week? Getting motivation is too hard. Most probably caused by the past week GRE test which spent like only one week time to study from 0 to the test day and I supposed not preparing well enough and it didn't scored well enough ahahahhaha. Still, pray hard for the coming results. /finger crossed.
Finish with the mumbling, back to the pics. Air Gear had been one of my favourite during my secondary school days ( phew, long long time ago!!), and Agito definitely my top choice of character. Just that , back then I never thought of cosing him actually. I was more to Simca, but still havent yet got the chance to do her either. Glad that Fuyu accepted my request to do this version together. Its very rare to find Air Gear fans in Penang back then, and Fuyu is one of the least. Still, this took us like more then a year to settle the shooting. I was busy, she was busy, well in the end we had to rushed because I was coming back to my hometown. That costume really break my head. I initially thought that making a torn shirt shouldnt be that difficult because I'll just have to do a few cuts on the cloth and it will be done which is VERY WRONG!!!! It was difficult. Not every kind of cloth can be torn easily and torn prettily! In the end I  have to tear some part piece by piece to make sure it looks artistic enough to be wear on, else it might look like some thrown away  floor mat. I was supposed to make the bunny too, but in the end I just couldnt make it out. Its so damn difficult to make dolls!! Seriously, I tried two patterns and both failed eventually I gave up on it. I am kinda sorry for that since.. I promised to make it initially. In the end, the cloth is still with me and I don't really know what to do with it. Well, will think of something ;)
Well, that's all for now and pray hard for my exams~ Hope can pass with flying colors~~~
【Trip】~ 9 days tour around Taiwan~ Day 3 : Finally bloated my stomach!
Day 3 - Kaohsiung - night market
Continuing the trip in Taiwan, we stayed back in Kaohsiung for the day.  We woke up quite late that morning after spending the previous night gossiping with Min till late night.
Our first meal started at a nearby breakfast stall, carrot cake, club sandwich, hashbrown and a cup of milk coffee. Quite ordinary breakfast but i love that club sandwich/// I cant finish up my coffee hence brought it with me to the next destination.
As huahua was not free that morning, her cousin bro brought us around the city. We went to this mall " Dreams mall" located in the center of the city. There is this ferris wheel on the roof of the shopping mall which I remember seeing it in a Taiwan drama/// ( dont remember the name though). They are having a 40years celebration for Hello Kitty with collectible points at most shops in the malls. It was pinkish and dreamy all over the mall because of this celebration. I came across this Pili doll merchandise shop which I had my first meet with a real pili doll in front of my eyes. No wonder people was fascinated with this, they are really delicate piece of art indeed!!
I dropped by the bookshop, "Chengpin bookstore" just to have a look on Taiwan bookstore. I wasnt expecting any spendings here as i have weigh limits and cash limits that don't allow too much of unnecessary expenses. I came out of the book store with 5 mangas with me in the end. OTL.........  since its the real publisher here in Taiwan, the books are genuine and much cheaper compare to Msia. I was going crazy there and picked out quite a number of books, but I managed to cut down to five in the end... I personally like Nakamura- sensei 's book very much. Her story always catches my heart///// bought two of her books, one which i had been looking for quite sometime while another is the sequel of the story. Others are just random pick of genre I  might liked //////
We strolled around the mall until about 3pm, i bought a box of facial mask which is on sales in SASA then we headed to another place for lunch.
The lunch is another big meal again. I initially just ordered "sour spicy soup" while Min ordered beef noodles. I supposed our choice of food was not local enough, the cousin bro added a few more dishes... it became a huge meal alas!!
We picked up Huahua from train station and headed to 'Xizi wan' for a walk after meal. Quite a long stairs up for the temple and britain embassy. We just took a few photos from above. There was this adorable flower icecream/// we shared one with mango flavor. Scenery of the bay was awesome as well//.
The next destination was an art street. There is an amazing steel container art at the entrance, but i didnt manage to capture the picture clearly. There are lots more of other sculpture arts, including huge size bumblebee////
We headed back to huahua house and rest for a while. We went out again to the night market around dream mall area. We took a bus there as there was quite a distance from huahua house. It is a combination of two night market, the " Kai Xuan" and "Jing zhuan", just besides the Gold Silver Mall.  Its quite a huge area with all kinds of food stalls, cloths and games. I had stuffed myself with so much food... which eventually ended up throwing all food out ... it should be the last spicy smelly taufu that made me lost the appetite.... but its really tasty/////
We spent around 2 hours in the night market, we reached home around 12.30. I was kinda surprised that the operating hours was until very late night. When we left around that area, the place was still with alot of people.
I packed up my bags that night as we would left for Kenting the next day.
【Trip】~~9days Tour Around Taiwan~~ Day1&2: Eat all we can from south!
As I studied in a chinese independant school, Taiwan is always a place I fond of since secondary school. This trip was a sudden decision when Min found out the special discount promotion by Scoot airline,Sgd24 from Sg to Taiwan. We made a quick decision and decided to fly on 30th Oct. Since I have to go back for AFASG2013, my return flight is on a day before the event. Luckily there was the promotion on such a good timing~~
I arrived earlier on 29th Oct to Changi airport to grab the chance of Gintama Movie~ There is this left luggage service at tge airport that allowed passengers that store luagge with a quite reasonable price. I left my luggage there and rush for the 4.30pm movie at The Cathay nearby Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. The movie was a nice one but I over expected it. A little dissapointed but still love it somehow. My Zura sama still fit my taste the most/////
Later around that night I met up with Min and her mum for dinner. We went straight to airport after the meal. We waited like 4hours at the airport charging my phone and chitchating until we were called on board.
The flight took about 4 hours to reach Taipei at Taoyuan international airport. Very nice flight indeed!! Comfortable seats' polite flight attendant and smooth trip. Quite a luxury flight for a economic airline~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day 1- Taoyuan - Gaoshiong

When we reached early morning, it was like 20 degrees there. Quite a cold temperature for people like us from Malaysia. I was surprise with the bright sky as well, Bthe 6am in Taiwan is like 7.30am in Malaysia.

Initially, Min's friend was supposed to meet us up at the airport but couldn't make it in the end hence we meet her up in Gaoshiong instead. There are scheduled buses from the airport to the bullet train station cost abour twd30 per person. I met this charming Argentina guy that was going to the same destination, hence I picked him up with us along the trip. We reached the station in like less than 20minutes.

Our destination is at the southest city of Taiwan, which is the last terminal of the train service Zuoying station, cost about twd1445 for the trip. Quite expensive for me as I didnt bring much cash with me and wasnt expecting to buy anything in the first place. It was quite fast though. We reached gaoshiong in one and and a half hours.

We met up with Huahua, Min's taiwanese friend that will guide us through our tour here in Taiwan. She and her aunt picked us up from the train station. We said goodbye with that Argentina guy while Huahua directed him to the bus service to downtown area. He was indeed a lovely one ////

Our first stop started from Huahua's family house in Chaozhou. We almost met all of her family members. They are all so enthusiatics and humourous. Her grandma even cooked us real taiwanese style of food for lunch!! Delicious indeed!!

We left her family house in 3.30pm and go to her house in Gaoshiong city. After the harsh day of traveling, I almost slept death that evening. We were called up for dinner at her aunt house nearby. Another typical taiwanese meal, with the famous Gingered Duck and Minced pork with rice.Very tasty and homely. It is always nice to have homecooked food ~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day2 - Gaoshiong - Tainan
We woke up early that morning, prep ourselves and travel to tainan with Hua
hua family. Its a day full with food again!
We started our breakfast with 'Bak wan', fist size meatball in a breakfast shop on a way to tainan. There's also 'Mi gao', we known as glutinous rice in Msia, and meatball soup. Breakfast itself its like a huge challenge for me already. I dont eat this much usually, but huahua cousin brother say it might be once and only chance to taste this , oh well, i am definitely stuffing myself for the day!!!
After the breakfast we go for ice. We parked a few street across the shop and walked to the shop. We definitely need some exercise before another meal in! We shared 2 types of ice, Fruit ice and honey lemon ice, toufufa. Quite refreshing indeed.
We drop by a bakery for huahua's aunt to buy some biscuits. It is the first time i ever taste so different texture of biscuits. Some soft like cake but its biscuits, some harder than usual biscuits. I liked the one that look like macarons but not macarons. Its slightly sweet with butter cream in it.
While walking back to the car, we happened to pass by a icecream seller. The ice cream is made of yam and taste quite nice. It wasnt quite pleasant as we were force to buy 4 when we asked for only one.
=(
We went for the oyster roll for our lunch. Since i have mild seafood allergy, i didnt taste the oyster or prawns. But i had minced meat rice again, though i still prefered aunt's cooking//////.
Later on we went for taufufa again. This is quite a famous shop in Anping. We ordered 3 flavors, including original,greenbean, and redbean. I prefered the greenbean flavor, slightly sweeter than the others. I dont really eat taufufa in malaysia as i think it tasted weird, but i think Taiwan's taufufa tasted different and better than in msia.. i enjoyed this alot!~
We set back to gaoshiong after this as we were too full for any food anymore! We did dropby to packed some pudding and herbal egg too. This was the first time i had spicy herbal egg and it tasted ao awesome!!!! I havent yet taste the pudding we bought from Elate. It does look attractive but i am not sure if it taste as good~ We rested for a few hours at home and went to huahua aunt's house for dinner again. Well i can say she is a very good cook! Its very delicious that i just cant stop eating and bloated myself again!
Later that night we went 7-11, one of the must go destination! The 7-11 in malaysia is just so not how a convenient store should be. Though i would really like to have 'Guan dong zhu' and bento in 7-11 but i was too full to eat anything. The one thing i liked about here would be the points system to exchange for special merchandises. This season is onepiece pen. Since its randomly picked, i got Franky. but i liked brook more#/// will try again if i go 7-11 again~
【Sneak Peek】Air Gear Agito ~ Vocaloid Sandplay Akita Neru ~ Zone-00 Ruiko ~ Tonari Shizuku
It's been busy month  since July, as I am going back to my hometown end of this month [/sob ] (I'll miss everybody here in Penang T^T.  I didn't bother to do update my blog recently when everything just stuff on to me, busy sewing busy working busy cleaning...
Well, as usual, I was always into the last minute work... = = and the Agito x Akito shoot.. I was not able to finish up the bunny doll T3T//// I was grateful that Fuyu isn't much concern about it, as we already planned this for more than a year.
special thx my mate
This version is from manga volume 16 cover. I always live this but it was hard that time to find fans of Air Gear around here. I am glad that Fuyu did agreed to do this with me ~ this was at around end of July, if I am not mistaken its the last weekend of July.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Early this August, there is this Mini CF event held in Penang which they invited King x Mon as the guest cosplayers to the event here. I didn't get the chance to take photos with them since was rushing for Vocaloid Sandplay of the Singing Dragon photoshoot that evening.

This was taken at the 2nd day of the event in Gurney Paragon Mall.

photo thx Nero Vi Kazama

It was actually an embarassment that I mistaken this doujin version as Lily... in fact I only found it out the next day after the photoshoot and event that this is a doujin version of Akita Neru ( I found the blog post of the original illustrator ). Lily is another version which I do not fancy at all...... = = Somehow.. I was not the only one that mistaken this..... as there are people mixing up these two blond character... and I was regretful not to find out the original illustrator in the first place... Its quite a humiliation actually.... but it happened... gosh... and I wish time can just go back (/draw circle on floor)

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just last Friday we finished up this dream cos of Zone-00 witches group. It was a pity that our Sara couldn't make it T3T.
My favourite character for this manga would be Benten -sama///// (nosebleed die
I was glad that Ruiko is my first Zone00 character.. and not benten-sama///(ya.. I have a plan of him..........
The favourite is always the most struggling to handle..... I would regret to death if I don't do him well.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Last cosplay in Penang ( I suppose....) is Shizuku from Tonari no Kaibutsu-san ~ I was glad that Shiori invited me for this photoshoot. Her Haru is just so kakkoi///////

Yoshida Haru @ Shiori Itou
Mizutani Shizuku @ Maro Ch

(yeah.. this is just trolls....)

I was a lazy bump... I think... have to thank Weiqi for lending me Nagoya and also Shizuku skirt... as I was too lazy to start working with the skirt... (I think I mentioned before in pleated skirt tutorial that I wanted to post up a one-side pleated skirt which I will be making for Shizuku) well.. I didnt make it.... so... no tutorials... T3T.... as I was planning to use Haru's pants as sample and try to find similar cloth color and also ribbons that match Haru's pants.... but eventually.. I can't get the right color of military green ending up getting some not-very-black black high-graded uniform cloth (expensive...... ). I cant seems to get the mood on to make the skirt because of the color difference.. and hence borrow the skirt from Weiqi..... well.. ya... lazybump... =3=

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Although there are a few more plans with the Penang gang here, but this is my limit already... I won't be doing any cosplay until I go home ..... I have to start packing .... Will miss Penang alot when I am back home... Penang is a awesome place~~ I think I will come up often too =3= who knows
【TRIP】Penang Street Art Tour
Another month had passed since my last blog entry, and another two weeks since my last visit to Penang town. Though I stay in Penang state, I'd say its a visit because I solely spaced that day for sightseeing with my mate. We took the chance of my remaining time here for art-hunt in Georgetown before I moved back to my hometown after my studies here.
Our route started from Chew Jetty. I parked my car at the parking lot next to Chew Jetty and we started walking using GPS.
There are initially 3 mural paintings in Chew Jetty, 2 by Simon Tan and 1 by Ernest Zachaveric . Two of them " Amah and Asoon" and also "Children in A Boat" had faded and painted off. Its a pity for these beautiful paintings to wear off T3T.  Left only the one below, at the entrance of Chew Jetty.
"Akong and Amah" by Simon Tan
"Children on A Boat" was supposed to be on that piece of wall, but wore off, might because its facing the sea. All the breezes and rains might just be too harsh for it.
A picture of me looking down the stairs... I wonder what is that for?
An interesting signboard in the middle of Chew Jetty. Very adorable~
We continued walking across a few roads and reaches the 4th art that day. All Mural paintings onward are by Ernest Zachaveric ( except the CATS, Ill mentioned them later :)  ). I include the coordination that we followed in GPS as well.
"Children Playing Basketball" Mural 5.413792,100.340543
I suppose these kind of tourist attraction will always be business opportunities. There are several merchandises marketed based on these mural paintings, from notebooks to T-shirts. I got some for myself since I love collecting books very much ~  It was told that the revenues generating from these merchandises are for charity purposes.
 "Brother & Sister on a Swing" Mural 5.413941,100.340720
This is just across the street of that basketball mural. Next to it I suspect it should be the factory for the notebooks production. The quote on the door is saying "Shop not close as not able to sleep" and the right quote says "Shop not open as overslept". Well, I don't really get that metaphors but its fun =w= .
Other than mural and paintings, we seek for the Penang heritage steel sculptures around the area as well.
Each comes with a story or background of the street or nearby places.
 "Property" Sculpture 5.414593,100.340382
"Yeoh Only" Sculpture 5.415316,100.339758
 "Double Role" Sculpture 5.415421,100.339696
"Duck" Sculpture 5.416406,100.340825
 "Untrained Parakeet" Sculpture 5.417824,100.339851
 "Gedung Rumput" Sculpture 5.418064,100.339079
 "Tok Tok Mee" Sculpture 5.418219,100.338838
 "Temple Day" Sculpture 5.418470,100.338328
Sometimes its kinda hard to capture the whole picture because there are cars parking in front of it. Sad indeed.
 "Mahjong Bird" Sculpture 5.418857,100.338186
One special feature of Penang is the amazing heritage buildings they have. I really appreciate penang government's effort in maintaining them instead of getting rid when its old. I didnt really notice on the street name for this building below ( well.. I tends to easily get lost even with GPS), but there's a nice restaurant here. I suppose its a chinese restaurant.
Just across the building, there is this glass art pinned to the wall . The work is amazing, sadly not many people notice this.
 "Beca" aka "Trishaw Paddler" Sculpture 5.419138,100.337665
 "Narrowest Five Foot Way" Sculpture 5.419426,100.337067
 "One Leg Kicks All" Sculpture 5.419682,100.336751
 "Little Girl in Blue" Mural 5.419752,100.335774
This is one of my favourite mural painting. Its real huge.
 "Cheating Husband" Sculpture 5.418555,100.336477
 "Budget Hotels" Sculpture 5.418473,100.336263
"High Counter" Sculpture 5.418219,100.336252
 "Ting Ting Thong" Sculpture 5.417632,100.336906
"The Main Street" Sculpture 5.417025,100.338027
 "Procession" Sculpture 5.415341,100.337400
 "Reaching Up" Mural 5.414790,100.336488
"Cannon Hole" Sculpture 5.414724,100.336472
"This Old Man" Mural 5.415399,100.337207
-NOT AVAILABLE-
This paintings had wore off. Another sad case of mural paint.
"Too Narrow" Sculpture 5.415324,100.337555
In the search for the main arts on hand, we came across a few adorable kittens/cats mural paintings as well. I was curious in the first place, but since we all love cats, might just snap it down. Later only I found out that its a project known as "101 Lost Kittens" project. There are total 12 cat mural paintings around Georgetown. I was only able to snap 3 and one in process.
"I Can Help Catch Rats"
"Little Children on a Bicycle" Mural 5.414684,100.338237
"Skippy, The Giant Cat"
I am not sure about this since its not listed from the page I seek for, but its similar to 2 of the arts found in there.
"Cats and Human Living Together" on-going
That should be the artists =w=.
"Boy on a Bike" Mural 5.415351,100.338891
"Little Boy with Pet Dinosaur" Mural 5.415410,100.338832
The painting starting to wear off too.....
Our journey ends here while we had to walk back to Chew Jetty from here. The distance among all the arts are quite nearby. Overall we spent around 2 hours for the whole trip. Fun, but if you asked whether I am going again, I will really hesitate. Though its lucky for us that day as its slightly cloudy, else I might regret walking. There are also places to rent bicycle, though I think its more dangerous than walking, but would be a better and more comfortable way. Do sure visit all the arts when visit Penang, its a no-missed experience for all~
