It's been busy month  since July, as I am going back to my hometown end of this month [/sob ] (I'll miss everybody here in Penang T^T.  I didn't bother to do update my blog recently when everything just stuff on to me, busy sewing busy working busy cleaning... 

Well, as usual, I was always into the last minute work... = = and the Agito x Akito shoot.. I was not able to finish up the bunny doll T3T//// I was grateful that Fuyu isn't much concern about it, as we already planned this for more than a year.

This version is from manga volume 16 cover. I always live this but it was hard that time to find fans of Air Gear around here. I am glad that Fuyu did agreed to do this with me ~ this was at around end of July, if I am not mistaken its the last weekend of July.

Early this August, there is this Mini CF event held in Penang which they invited King x Mon as the guest cosplayers to the event here. I didn't get the chance to take photos with them since was rushing for Vocaloid Sandplay of the Singing Dragon photoshoot that evening. 

This was taken at the 2nd day of the event in Gurney Paragon Mall.

It was actually an embarassment that I mistaken this doujin version as Lily... in fact I only found it out the next day after the photoshoot and event that this is a doujin version of Akita Neru ( I found the blog post of the original illustrator ). Lily is another version which I do not fancy at all...... = = Somehow.. I was not the only one that mistaken this..... as there are people mixing up these two blond character... and I was regretful not to find out the original illustrator in the first place... Its quite a humiliation actually.... but it happened... gosh... and I wish time can just go back (/draw circle on floor)

Last cosplay in Penang ( I suppose....) is Shizuku from Tonari no Kaibutsu-san ~ I was glad that Shiori invited me for this photoshoot. Her Haru is just so kakkoi///////

I was a lazy bump... I think... have to thank Weiqi for lending me Nagoya and also Shizuku skirt... as I was too lazy to start working with the skirt... (I think I mentioned before in pleated skirt tutorial that I wanted to post up a one-side pleated skirt which I will be making for Shizuku) well.. I didnt make it.... so... no tutorials... T3T.... as I was planning to use Haru's pants as sample and try to find similar cloth color and also ribbons that match Haru's pants.... but eventually.. I can't get the right color of military green ending up getting some not-very-black black high-graded uniform cloth (expensive...... ). I cant seems to get the mood on to make the skirt because of the color difference.. and hence borrow the skirt from Weiqi..... well.. ya... lazybump... =3=

Although there are a few more plans with the Penang gang here, but this is my limit already... I won't be doing any cosplay until I go home ..... I have to start packing .... Will miss Penang alot when I am back home... Penang is a awesome place~~ I think I will come up often too =3= who knows

This is the largest group that I've been working with, and thanks to Angie for organizing and arranging for the shooting. There are more people actually, but due to some circumstances, some are not able to come, including our dear Molly (=3=)//////////// 

But I am glad somehow to be able to work with all Vocaloids~ The group includes a few other photographers like our Lord Mazaki, KC, Blur and also fellow photogs from Singapore, Fariz Asuka and Blurmage. Though I am not familiar with most of them. Hence, didnt get the chance to work with them though.

It was kinda rush that day, since we booked 4 hours of Karaoke room. The room was awesome. Fits most of the theme there. 

Was planning to do Hachi Hachi version (Tengaku version of Rin), pairing with Molly initially. Since Molly was not able to attend, I changed to Science Girl instead. Mainly, because of the song
"What Do You Mean?" (どういうことなの！？) by Kuchibashi-P. Fits my condition now that time, when I was rushing for my thesis. Check it out in Youtube for the song. Its awesome!

We went to arcade in Timesquare later on after the photoshoot. Apparently, I am outdated..... too old.... i didnt know arcade is still a place where youths hang out... Was in damn big culture shock. I am typical stay-at-home type of girl. My life is consistently, school, anime, mangas, sleep and it goes all around again. Although occassionally, I do overnight sewing and photoshoot outing.. basically it never strayed far from these. To see that most people know what arcade's newest machine, frankly speaking, I was amazed. Especially that dancing machine.. maybe its just me that is not compatible with dancing, but to be able to follow the move of the dancers in the machine, its seems to me its hell lot of practice. I personally still like Jubeat alot, which I have the Iphone version in my phone right now. A new sight for me, maybe sometimes when I am free, might try hang out in arcade for Jubeat, since the big squares is much easier than the iphone size of squares. =w=

Its almost end of March and I haven't been posting anything recently. For the past month, I was busying about thesis thingy, and its not progressing well at all, was kind of stressed-up at the moment. At least one for March today =w=.

Previously I was attracted by one cosplayer photo of this version of Miku, ( I don't really know who that cosplayer was), but her cosplay was so amazing that I searched through the internet immediately to find out about the songs. My instinct told me that this song would fit my taste very much, and I was right about that. By the way, this is way before I started cosplay. Well if compared back with her version, I think mine was not as perfect as hers, it was kind of in rush somehow. Thinking back about past year cosplay, I had done thing with rush and incomplete way. Though there's always beauty in the incomplete way, but I would always think that I could have done better . Like Ryoma's favourite quote " まだまだだね", there's always the space to keep up, and I had much more to learn. 

Although this set I used around 1 year time to complete it, well mostly because I was lazy to start editing it, there's always part that I was not satisfy with, especially when postprocessing wasn't my strong point at all. Thanks to Molly actually, for introducing the Nix color effect plugin for Photoshop, is was such a savior. I tried hard with Lightroom, and found it unreasonable to communicate with. Nix had become a good friend indeed, the real user-friendly type. <--- main motivation for me to start editing it.. A few there was edited by Yuu with Lightroom, and when I tried my part with PS alone, it just didnt work out. I was lucky when Nix got a filter that could gave similar effect as the one Yuu edited, I was saved XDDDDD.

The lyrics was adapted from vocaloid wikia ( link below). Mainly I was thinking only about putting pictures on until I got the idea when recapturing the song from Youtube to integrate the lyrics in a few of the pictures to complete them. Well, at least I tried, and with the pictures I have, it could fit in for the 1st phrase of the songs ( that's why its until there). The "Yai" and "1,2,3"part initially was planned to be .gif pic, but it's awkward, hence I changed into this instead, I think its better that a sudden gif in all static pic, might caused heart attack (hahahah =D). and I just remember that woodplank is still at the back of my car.......... normally what do people do with used props anyway?? I always wonder.... I find them a nuisance..... <--- failed cosplayer(?) I am really not that kind that appreciates props .... and I was afraid to start any armor cosplay because I know I will hate the armor after finish event or photoshoot....... T3T

I didn't manage to finish up the lyrics this time... so "つづく" =w=. There's only 2 days left of my CNY holiday, so I was rushing on photos that I could settled at the moment while I still have freedom left. 

Secret time after school reminds me of Sailormoon op. Though they don't really resemble, but it did have that era's music, very the anime feel~ Couldn't said that I were fancied or had love for the song since I only heard twice before I doing this photoshoot, and just slightly glance through the lyrics... and got completely mistaken of the meaning.... OTL .. my bad....

The most complicated part of this Miki was the wig. I was thinking to get a Miki wig but I can't find any suitable for this version. The colour was quite extraordinary, pale orangy pink. After searching for some time in TB, I gave up and decided to dye myself. I used a light pink wig and paint with orange fabric dye. Wig became quite coarse and easily tangled after that though, have to ion it frequently and wig spray was not helping at all. Fabric dye method somehow gives kind of a fluorescence (might due to the dye color too), but it tends to stain on cloths, though the color stays. At least a better method than pastel chalk, I tried the first time and its not recommended as the colors really drop, and it won't stay long enough and very messy. I was satisfied with the end product, the color was just nice though it destroy the wig. 

For the antenna, I stick extra hair that I cut off after trimming the wig on a wire to maintain the hook shape of Miki's antenna. Normal water glue served as a very nice adhesive agent to fix the hair in shape, though the first layer required UHU to fix on the wire. I think it looked better after I shaped again when I attended the event Danny Choo cultural night in Paragon, Penang (pic below).

Although I don't like asking for tailor as I feel better and more secure to make costume myself, this uniform didn't piss me off though. It's tailored from Kuroneko's mum, and it fits perfectly on me, the craft was just perfect. She charged reasonably as well so feel free to order from her if interested (pm for details).

Finally another complete set that I had settled, though it took for a few months time to edit this set. (≧∀≦)

Sincerely thanks to dear Tsu for organizing this team of vocaloid nurses, and make all the arrangement for the  photoshoot. It was a very happy memory with all of you beautiful nurses and glad that I was invited in the team. 

I was engaged with another team of Love Ward in KL, doing Luka nurse in that team. When Tsu actually mentioned on doing Love Ward here, I was not interested in the first place, since I had a team already, and I like only Luka ver. by then. However, I was fished by the idea of doing self-created version of nurses for other girl Vocaloids that did not appeared in the original 4-ppl team, hence I did this Yowane Haku version of Love Ward. (oﾟωﾟo). White hair with red eyes is always my best preference of appearance (o☻ܫ☻o). 

The location of the photoshoot is in this Clinic Cafe located in Gurney Plaza, Penang. Somehow........ it just closed down a few weeks ago... i think.... which was pretty sad... It was a nice place.... and nice food as well...... though we were the pretty nurses there XDDDD.

I love the settings of the food alot.. since what I use in the lab for chemicals is there on the table for drinks , conical flask, one of my favourite labwares =w=. The price was not bad as well.. though I don't really understand why it wasn't popular by then... Sigh (,,ﾟДﾟ)! Well, at least we did our shoot there successfully and left this awesome memory before the place faded away TAT.

So, Oh yeah for all pretty nurses ~~
