【Event】13102012-141020122 - 2 Studio Cosplay Event + Molly's Graduation day

Its been a year since the last 2 studio Graduation Exhibition. It was Molly's turn this time, was happy for her that she finally going to graduate~~ 2 Studio Academy although was known to me only when I met Molly, the standard of the student's artwork were quite fascinating though. Especially this year, there were a few booth that caught my attention, one with DRRR! boxes designed and another with mostly Acrylic work.

Like last year, the cosplay event was hosted by LGCC, with some ACG merchandise booth and Cosplay competition. I was not there for most of the time, hence would not review anything about that.

It was a pleasure somehow to be able to attend Molly's graduation exhibition, despite I was not able to stay late until her graduation ceremony (,,ﾟДﾟ). Still, congraz to Molly for her graduation.

I was doing Kuroko's Teiko school uniform version on the Sat. Well, don't mention anything about not going to do KuroBasu thing.... its like the 3rd plan this year.. OTL.... It was never in my plan to do Kuroko. Well, I was kind of pissed on my own not so firm personality when I was unsure of what characters to do... Molly just forcingly eagerly inviting me to do Kuroko's Teiko's version with her since she wanted to do Akashi badly. The whole costume belongs to Yuu though, I just get my pants and shoes ready. Still thanks to Yuu for that. I was extremely unsatisfy somehow, it didnt came out to my own expectation =3=.( I had a very fat face which i realized after Kuroko ). Should make sure to myself not to drop into any of the holes without well-preparations and sudden dragging = = I don't like my Kuroko, looked super serious when trying to look emotionless.

Lol... what can I say... OTL... Kuroko I still love you ....

Basically I still think my camwhoring looks better, with Pusheen here to lighten me up =3=
Ya, this Pusheen Plushie belongs to YR though, a goddamn OMG price, but very adorable, and fluffy and so nice to hug =/////////= (max shiawase mode).

This is the so excited look when me and Yuu saw Pusheen , Nyan~~(oﾟωﾟo) Yuu commented we look so inhuman in this pic =w= but i still like it ~~

Well, the day somehow ended quite peacefully. We had our dinner at James Foo's Restaurant. Nice food with a very good price for western food. I had my Pork Cordon Bleu and Herbal tea. Tasted nice but still not as best as Chicken Cordon Bleu which Yuu had. Recommended place to have nice and economic western food.

Day 2 of the event was not much of excitement. Initially planned to do Lelouch, but was not in that confidence, ended up not cosplay on that day. Still the final round of the competition was held on the 2nd day. We later ended up watching Taken 2 in 1st Avenue. It was not as awesome as the prequel though =3=, but still considered nice movie.

We had out lunch at Shunka (旬香）, 8th floor (the same floor as TGV cinema) . I liked the shop very much, very japan-ish ~ They were doing special lunch value set for weekdays and weekends. The food, well, quite ok, just normal, but quite a good pricing.

Lesson learn: Never ever agree to plan that is not meant to be planned ... OTL

【Tutorial】Your very own Barnaby's Bunny Plushie

It's been a year since the birth of my Kotetsu's Tiger Plushie ... and finally I finished up with Bunny just recently....... (i know i am slow...) This is just a simple process of the birth of Bunny ( I didn't manage to capture for Tiger...). This is how it actually looks like , 1m in height and... probably around 30-35cm width. 

Recapture back, Kotetsu decided to present Barnaby with a pink bunny plushie ( From Tiger & Bunny Anime), which is like what I make it here.

Well... later on I actually found out that the whiskers and lips of Bunny is in a very thin line.... hence... if you prefer to be more original like ⇩ this, just use thread to sew on instead of felt. 

Materials:

(i) Turquoise color Felt (just a little bit for the eyes and whiskers and lips will do)

(ii) Black color Felt ( a little bit for the eyes)
(iii) Rose pink color Flannel (i think it suit best for plushie.. else, felt or any other kind of cloth will do) 1m x 1m

(iv) needles and different color threads

(v) A lot of cotton to stuff in

Methods:

Body of Bunny First of all, draw the shape of bunny like how it is as below. My cloth is 1.5m x 1m, hence I fixed bunny's height as 1m. 

Later on sketch another allowance around 1-2cm around the bunny shape.  

Cut out the bunny shape according to the outer line. You will need two pieces of this, the front and back. A small tips here is to pin both layers of the cloth together before cutting, this could make sure that the two pieces of bunny shape will be identical/less error happens.

Leave it aside for the moment and proceed for the eyes and whiskers and lips.

Eyes of Bunny made up of 2 black circles and turquoise circles.

I used a 50cent RM coins as base around 27mm diameter) for the blue Iris. 

For the black color part, I used the blue iris as base to draw another circle (around 2-3mm larger).

Sew both circle together as shown below. I drew with white threads so its actually visible, but please use a turquoise thread for better effect.

For whiskers, 6 x rectangle around 35mm x 5mm ( still depends on own preference). Sew with only turquoise thread will be more original. 

Position them accordingly on the front of a layer of the bunny shape, pin to hold it. Flannel should have a front (the furry side) and back (the rough side) surface, don't mix them up.  

Sew on the eyes as follow, using black thread. Same to the whiskers and lips. 

Basically it looks like this after sew on.

Flip the cloth over (make sure that both layers of front surface facing in), pin both the bunny shape together and sew them, making a bunny pouch. Remember to leave at least a fist width of hole to insert cotton. Flip the bunny inside out from the hole, and stuff in cotton. Not necessary to be very firm, since it might not feel comfortable to hug with hard plushie.

Seal up the hole and there you have it, your very own Barnaby's bunny doll~~

Basically the method to make the tiger plushie is the same. Since there is no reference of tiger, design it as you like. I prefer Kotetsu's beard, hence I make the shape like that. While for the tail, its two pieces of long rod shape of, each with extra brown felt sew on to make it looks like stripes before putting both together.

Finally they are happily ever after together... just that tiger had been waiting for so long.. till he got some holes from my beloved Zizi ( my pet rabbit... lol.... affair....) at his leg there.... QAQ.

Goldeen is always my all time favourite water pokemon, sweet and elegant. I planned it for quite sometime, to do it either underwater or near the beach and finally got the chance to do it during last Raya holidays, thanks to Raz for able to make it. Well, it was a surprise to find out that Raz and I had the same hometown and since it was such nice arrangement that we were both back hometown during the holidays. 

Gladly that it was a fine day that early morning, though we finished up in an hour time since the water level started to rise. It had been quite sometime since I last soaked myself in the sea, kind of missing that ^^. Apparently, soaking in seawater with wigs on is definitely not a wise act, I was so dizzy after that = =.. Raz did commented that this looks more like a concept shoot rather than pokemon .......= =" (yunowatchpokemon.....).. or a unicorn... TAT(NUUUU!!!!!)

Well basically I was kinda agree with that... I need a TRAINER!!!!!MISTY!!!!! WHERE ARE THOU??????!!!! =3=

Initially I was thinking of doing  this ↓ version of goldeen. I can't find the author for this, but the whole series of pokemon gijinka by this artist was very awesome. 

Though I did said that, my image of Goldeen however is more towards  ↓  this version of Goldeen instead.

I was so in dilenma a few days before the shooting in between these two version... and finally I gave up to the latter.. I modified a white dress that was in my closet for ages (yes, brand new), painted with orange fabric dye, it was fun to dye gradient:

* soaked white cloth in pale watery orange, later paint the darker part of the gradient with thick orange dye and slowly spread out the middle. Dried them, either airdry or with blower. Lastly dap spots of dark orange for the Goldeen's spots.

For the horn,
*I painted a plastic cover with white acrylic, cut out a quarter pie shape, roll the pie shape into a cone (painted side inwards), and stick together with cellophone tape. The plastic gave a natural smooth surface, hence, ya it do looks quite good. Lastly, cut a small cut at bottom of the corn, enough for a hairclip to be inserted.

Well, sincerely thanks again to Raz (Razrig photography) for making this happen, I loved the pictures very much~ And also my little sister (I doubt she will see this....) for helping out with the reflectors and so on. Lastly, I would love a sunset shoot in the beach again, ngek ngek~~~

【Music】09092012 Yoga Lin Autographing Session

Yoga Lin is one of the least singer that I adored much. I had know about him since the first time he entered the One Million Star Competition in 2007. I was very upset past few years when I missed the chance to listen to his live in Sungai Wang when he came to Malaysia to publicize his first album. Basically, I think the attraction to music is unique to everyone, some people might like it and some might not. I am not sensitive to music, and mostly I remember only the melody of the songs without knowing the singer and the title of the songs. Yoga is I would say one of the rare case in my ear that I could recognize his songs only with his voice alone ( yes... without remembering the title ......). A few songs that he sang last time in the competition still remains my best of his songs, like Creep by Radiohead, and 你是我的眼（direct translation as : you are my eyes) by Xiao Huang-Chi.

This time, for his fourth album: <大小说家> (Novelist), he came to publicize in Malaysia 8 Sep in Sg.Wang, KL; and 9 Sep in 1st Avenue, Penang, and also Autocity, Penang. I was quite exaggerated when I got to know that its in Penang. I was in 1st Avenue a few hours earlier that day.

It was the very first time I listened to his live and it was just superbly awesome!! His passion and determination towards music was all over there in his songs and despite being more famous now, he still maintained his vocal and becoming even more and more impressive. I liked the way he was so into his song as if he was singing in his realm of music himself, you know, a bit of epileptic there ^^. Its seemed like he enjoyed it so much that there on the stage.

He was quite a humorous person, not too much of dramas and was just nice as a stranger. Well.. I normally dislike celebrities attitude of being too fake friendly to the fans or just too much of socialize thingy there. He was just nice, around 37 degree celcius waterbath attitude.

He sang around 4 songs, all from <Novelist>, had a small session of singing games together with 3 audiences (first prize got to go for his concert for free =3=). Ya, they sold his concert ticket on spot, <神游～FUGUE> 2013 March 2 in Genting Arena of Stars, and I decided to support him there. Concert ticket comes together with his poster. Autograph session held later will only autograph on the poster and his 4th Album. Royce (MyFM DJ, emcee) did mentioned that the autograph is only for the Malaysia's cover... but... duh.. normally people get his album ahead before that, and obviously imported version is more glamour than the local version, so who cares.... I rather get another piece of the more pricey imported version than the local version (although it did sold in a cheaper price). I went up twice for his autograph, 1st for the album and second for the posters, and got the chance to shake his hand for twice ^//(+++)//^. He was considered quite good-looking to me, although I prefer his previously more skeletel look in the competition few years back.



Just hope that his concert will be held smoothly next year~ I would love to hear him singing live again ~~~

【Event】25082012 Animangaki2012 Day1 ONLY + AomineXMomoi Kuroko No Basuke

Well, its been another 2 weeks after the event, (it always was) when I write the review for the event.... busy hell always. Animangaki is an annual event held by Sunway University Anime club, while 2012 is the 4th year of the event. Check out their website animangaki.com for more information. 

This is the first year I attended the event, with a very nice event hall, in Sunway Pyramid Convention Center. Basically I was quite satisfy with the location. I can't do much review for the event though, as I didn't get the chance to go into the event hall :(. 

I was doing Momoi from Kuroko no Basuke that day, a casual version from the ending of the anime. Sincerely thanks a lot to Sara from Singapore for the invitation to do Momoi, was very surprised and happy for that. I think he made a very nice Aomine =////////=.

So, now... why didn't I got the chance to enter the event hall... even with the ticket purchased..( yes, I bought the ticket without having to use it at all.. still stay nicely in my purse.. = =) Basically, I only have the time to visit AMG for Day 1, hence there would not have sufficient time.I went together with dear Aomine for a short camwhoring session.

Aomine and Momoi was set as childhood friend, they knew each other like forever.... I presumed. I personally like both of them a lot, taking out the bromance issue here. ( Yes, Aomine X Kise is my favourite pairing~~). To me, Momoi portraits to be like a big sister to the troubling little brother, I am not sure about the who being older, btu Momoi is the "big sister" type of girl to me. Affection of Momoi towards Aomine, well, I supposed not the labu labu type, but more to a siblings love. Well not sure how the author is going with the plot, hopefully remained the sports theme and not diverting somewhere else....

Met a few friends back then, with Yanzhi. Kuroko was just so awesome =////////=.

With Sora... and.. you'd really become slimmer and slimmer each time I met you.

Well and others, sadly I don't have full access to my brother's phone. Mine sucks at camwhoring, though SIII wasn't that great as well...

Later on, was glad to had well lunch (or hightea?) together with the mates. Try to snap some shoots for Aomine and Momoi as well. All thanks to Michelle (Mi.N photography). I personally like how she framed the photos very much. It brings out the FU of the scenery very well. 

We try to put out something like having small date of Aomine and Momoi hanging out together in shopping mall. I would say Sara is a very lovely and funny guy, was very glad to have to chance to work with him. We just hang around the shopping mall, take random shoot of hanging out together and lastly a game of basketball shooting. Here is a definitely being Omake thing... 

Since I don't want to play for the second round ... this is what it happens at the back of Aomine when he was concentrating on the basketball shoot. 

Now here's something serious. Well, I like how Michelle trying to edit, with the fuwa fuwa feel. This is credited to Fritz as well for helping to edit (well, I am not sure which part) as well. It's just awesome~

【COS】Kuroko No Basuke - If World : Gathering after work

It was kind of rare for everyone to meet up after starting off the working life. Nothing was as expected as they were in highschool time. It was a surprise to the basketball community when none of the members of "Generation of Miracles" actually become professional basketball players but pursue on their own career differently. 

Aomine became a police officer thinking that "Only I can be stronger than I am", intended to solve all robbery cases; Midorima was recommended for admission to overseas to study on medic, somehow there were rumors that he was not doing well with the patients for some horoscope incompatibility; Kise became the youngest pilot which he seemed to have some scandal issues with the air-hostessess; Murasakibara was quite a famous patissier in some well-known hotel, but somehow the dessert served in the dining hall was not as much as the raw materials used; Akashi on the other hand was quite famous in Shogi community as the deadly player, his declaration on his last interview "Anyone who wins against me, even parents, will have to die" causes such a panic to the world. 

Oh, almost forgotten, Kuroko became a kindergarten teacher, well, he got quite a lot of complains from the headmaster that parents complaining their kids having too mature and dark thoughts, somehow he did not know why.... 

Hence, it was very rare that all of them are able to gather again, and somehow Akashi makes sure that everyone did attend. 

Kiseki no minna: I know that we are awesome , mind to give the menu first instead of staring?

I would say WOW! this was the fastest completed full set that I had posted!! All have to thanks to our awesome photo editor Molly, for helping to sort out the sets and edit in such a fast pace!! 

Since Kuroko no Basuke was such a fuse recently due to the animation release, there are like thousands of new cosplay for this series. It was not in my initial plan at all to do this as its a basketball theme. I am not confident with my fat arms and girlish face to do such manly characters. Somehow, this "If world" version, when firstly mentioned by Molly, was quite in my interest ^(+++)^. Its about the Generation of Miracles and Kagami's career when they grow up. (Yes, there is a Kagami version -- a fire fighter...). Since we were not able to find someone for Kagami, we might as well just make it as for Generation of Miracles.

Murasakibara was my favourite among all 6 of them, my type of guy =/////=. Sadly, I still think I am too girlish for Mura-chi though =3=. 

The short story and captions here just pop out of my mind when I was arranging the photos. Some might not fits too well though =3=.
